About the Event
This opportunity is designed to provide meaningful legal exposure to law students, law clerks, NCA/LSO candidates, and fresh graduates eager to understand the Canadian legal landscape. As an in-office legal internship, participants will gain hands-on experience in legal research, documentation, litigation support, and client communication. Interns will work under the guidance of practicing legal professionals and participate in substantive legal work related to real-world case files.
The role is ideal for students pursuing academic co-op credit, recent graduates seeking experience, or internationally trained professionals undergoing licensing in Canada. Please note this is not an articling position.

Format and Structure
The internship includes direct participation in legal processes and office operations. Selected candidates will be trained in legal drafting, research, and administrative tasks:
- Drafting legal documents, affidavits, notices, and client communication
- Conducting statutory and case law research
- Supporting the litigation team with administrative coordination
- Participating in client interaction and meetings
- Receiving mentorship and constructive feedback throughout the internship
Evaluation will be based on punctuality, legal acumen, initiative, and written/verbal communication. Certificates and performance-based endorsements will be awarded.

Note: This internship is open only to candidates based in Canada.
