About the Internship:
The Legal Internship Program at Urja Talents offers an exceptional opportunity for law students and recent graduates to immerse themselves in practical legal work. As a legal intern, you will assist with legal research, contract drafting, client meetings, and court proceedings, gaining valuable exposure to both corporate and litigation practices. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated attorneys and contribute to the overall success of the firm while expanding your own legal knowledge and skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct research on various legal topics, including corporate, civil, and criminal law.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Assist in drafting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Case Preparation: Support the legal team in case preparation, reviewing case files, and summarizing legal documents.
- Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and observe court proceedings to gain real-world legal experience.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments for ongoing cases.
- Marketing & Outreach: Assist in marketing the company, sourcing new cases, and representing the firm when needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide general support to the legal team, handling day-to-day tasks that contribute to smooth operations.
Internship Dates & Mode:
- Mode: Hybrid (Remote and On-Site options available)
- Duration: 1-3 months
- Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, or remote (based on availability and preference)
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Law degree or currently enrolled in a law program.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a law firm or legal department is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint) and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with a diverse, global team and contribute to a positive work environment.
