About the Opportunity

Scaler is hiring a Legal Intern to join its in-house legal team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. This internship offers early-career law professionals a chance to work across diverse legal verticals including corporate law, IPR, employment law, data privacy, and consumer compliance. Reporting directly to the VP, Legal, the intern will support high-impact legal operations within one of India’s fastest-growing startups in the ed-tech space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review commercial contracts and marketing agreements.
• Address consumer notices and ensure legal compliance.
• Work on Intellectual Property issues such as trademarks and copyrights.
• Support employment law documentation and workplace compliance.
• Conduct data privacy assessments and contribute to compliance initiatives.
• Assist in general corporate legal matters, governance, and legal documentation.

Eligibility:

• Background in corporate law.
• Interest in IP law and data privacy.
• Strong drafting and research skills.
• Keen interest in technology and fast-paced legal environments.
