About the Internship

This internship will provide a valuable learning experience for law students interested in employment and labor law. The selected intern will work closely with SSA’s team of legal and compliance experts, gaining insights into the practical aspects of labor law and HR compliance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Research and Drafting: Interns will conduct research on labor laws, analyzing various regulations and industry standards to draft relevant legal documents.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Supporting the team in interpreting and analyzing client-provided data related to labor law compliance.
  3. Administrative Support: Assisting with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining client communications.
  4. Content Creation: Writing articles and contributing to legal booklets on specific legal topics related to employment and labor law.

Duration:

The internship is for 3 months, starting from November 2024.

Stipend: SSA Compliance Services LLP offers a stipend of ₹8,000 per month.

Mode of Internship: The internship will be hybrid, combining both in-office and remote work. Interns may be required to visit the office in Bangalore for specific tasks, but much of the work can be completed remotely.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Law students currently pursuing a degree in LL.B. or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in employment and labor law, HR compliance, and related legal fields.
  • Basic knowledge of content writing and creative writing.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Power BI.
  • Excellent research and drafting skills.
  • Prior knowledge of labor laws is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Research: Interns will conduct detailed research on labor laws and employment-related legal matters.
  2. Legal Writing and Drafting: Interns will help in preparing legal articles, booklets, and other content on specific topics related to employment law.
  3. HR Compliance Documentation: Interns will assist in preparing HR documents, policies, and compliance reports in line with SSA’s advisory services.
  4. Data Management: Support the team in analyzing and interpreting legal data related to clients’ labor law practices.
  5. Client Communications: Assist in client calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining communication on legal matters.
