About the Event

Kria Law is currently hiring a Patent Paralegal to join its expanding Intellectual Property (IP) practice at its New Delhi office. The position is ideal for mid-level professionals with prior experience in handling Indian patent filings, form submissions, and procedural workflows with the Indian Patent Office (IPO).

As a Patent Paralegal at Kria Law, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys in the entire lifecycle of patent prosecution and portfolio management. Format and Structure

Position: Indian Patent Paralegal
Location: New Delhi
Type: Full-time | On-site | Law Firm Role
Reporting: To Senior IP Attorneys and Patent Associates

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file Indian patent applications (Provisional, Complete, Convention, and PCT NPE)
• Draft and file required Forms (1, 3, 5, 18, 26, etc.) for prosecution and post-grant stages
• Manage docketing systems, track IPO deadlines, and ensure timely filings
• Handle online IPO submissions and interface with IPO’s e-filing system (especially through iolite or equivalent platforms)
• Liaise with clients, inventors, R&D teams, and IPO officials
• Maintain internal records and assist in portfolio management and reporting
• Coordinate with attorneys for hearing preparation and follow-up filings
