Linklaters’ Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team is currently hiring a mid-level U.S. Associate (preferred class years: 2020–2021) for its offices in New York or Washington D.C.
This opportunity is ideal for associates with prior litigation experience in high-stakes commercial disputes, particularly in federal courts or cross-border arbitration settings. The selected candidate will be part of a busy and growing team handling complex investigations, international arbitrations, and multi-jurisdictional litigation.
The team advises a diverse portfolio of clients including multinational corporations, sovereign entities, financial institutions, and high-profile individuals.

Position: Mid-Level Associate (Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations)
Location: New York or Washington D.C., United States
Bar Admission: Required – New York State Bar or D.C. Bar
Education: U.S. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex commercial litigation including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Manage large-scale document productions and run discovery in federal and state matters
- Take or defend depositions in complex cases
- Draft and file legal briefs, pre-trial motions, and case summaries
- Engage with global clients on cross-border litigation strategy
- Collaborate with multi-jurisdictional teams across arbitration and investigations
- Maintain impeccable legal writing and oral advocacy standards

Additional Highlights
- Salary Range: $310,000 to $365,000 annually (base salary)
