Department of Land Resources seeks to engage Young Professionals (YPs) on contractual basis for physically being present and working on full time basis in its offices for Legal jobs. They will provide assistance in GIS, Legal, Energy Crops and Spring Shed development and various aspects associated with these subject and other work areas as assigned from time to time related to Department of Land Resources.

1. Educational Qualification: In general, the following qualifications are required for the legal jobs opportunity;

Young Professional legal	02	Bachelor degree in Law from recognised University Institution.	Experience Handling Land Regulation and Land Acquisition In Matters.	Matters related to acts being implemented by Department.
Young Professional (Energy Crops)	01	Masters degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognised University/ Institution.	Matters work Experience in Energy Crops Bio-fuels, Knowledge in Carbon bio-fuel policy, primarily for bio-gas and bio-fertiliser and regulation, Green also foe Hydrogen MBA sequestration, in agri-business.	Explore various options and implement cactus cultivation on degraded land addressing carbon climate management change issues, etc.
Young Professional (Spring shed development)	01	Masters degree in Hydrology/ Geology/ Hydrogeology/ Soil & Water Engineering from recognised University/ Institution.	A Work experience in Hydrogeology/ spring shed mapping & management, working knowledge of GIS techniques, Remote sensing techniques, etc.	Identifying recharge areas, mapping spring shed implementation Spring development. formulating for of shed Also, Spring Shed as a larger and new scheme/ sub- scheme for the hilly areas.

The individual YP may require to undertake domestic official tours with due approval and they will be allowed following reimbursement of or grant of advance for official expenditure as shown below:

Young Professional	Economy Class by Air or AC-II by Train	Hotel accommodation of up to Rs. 750/- per day, taxi charges of up to Rs. 225/- per day upto 50 Kms for travel within the city and food bills not exceeding Rs. 800/- per day shall be allowed.

(a) Duration of Engagement:- Individual Young Professionals will be engaged for a fixed period of two years which may be extended by one year at a time upto a maximum tenure of five years, i.e., 2+1+1+1 years for providing high quality services on specific projects as per requirement of the Verticals/Divisions. However, their continuation in their respective position beyond the first and subsequent years would be contingent on a satisfactory Annual Performance Review based on clearly defined Key Performance Indicators. Extension beyond five years may be considered under exceptional circumstances with the approval of competent authority in Department of Land Resources.

(b) The Individual Young Professionals are appointed on full-time basis and therefore are not permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of Consultancy with Department of Land Resources under these Guidelines.

(c) The engagement of Individual Young Professionals is of a temporary nature and Department of Land Resources can cancel the engagement at any time without providing any reasons thereof.

(d) Number of Individual Young Professionals: The total mamber of Individual Young Professionals engaged at Department of Land Resources will be based on the actual requirement as determined by the Competent Authority from time to time and available budgetary provisions.

(a) The Screening Committee constituted by the Department will scrutinize the applications and shortlist the candidates based on merits.

(b) The short-listed candidates will be called for skill test/ interview for selection by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee (CEC) constituted by the Department.(

c) The decision of the Department on selection of candidates will be final and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained.

7. Terms of reference:

The task to be performed by the Young Professionals shall be decided as per requirement as deemed necessary by the Department.&

The individual Young Professional shall be entitled to leave at the rate of 1.5 days of cach completed month with no accumulation of leave beyond a calendar year on pro- rata basis.

Accumulation of leave beyond a calendar year shall not be allowed. They will not be entitled for leave encashment for unavailed leave.Ad3/59.

The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the Department of Land Resources will issue TDS Certificate\’s Goods and Service Tax, as applicable shall be admissible to the Individual Consultants.

The Department of Land Resources undertake no liability for taxes or other contribution payable by the Individual Consultant on payments made under this Consultancy contract.

Police verification of the Individual Young Professionals shall bedone as per the latest instructions issued by MHA. In case the police verification is received as negative, the Consultancy Contract of Individual Consultant shall cease to exist with immediate effects without any notice.

After joining, a minimum of three days induction training (not to be paid) be organized for all the individual Young Professionals.
