This full-time role seeks an experienced Legal Manager with expertise in property transactions, leasing, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate restructuring. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless legal support across CapitaLand’s Indian operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, sale deeds, vendor contracts, financing agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Manage legal notices, litigations, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and government approvals, liaising effectively with authorities.
• Support land acquisition, leasing, project financing, and due diligence processes.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Maintain legal documentation and provide internal teams with clear legal guidance.
• Lead transaction management and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to corporate restructuring, mergers, demergers, and general corporate law matters.
• Address local real estate law and stamp duty issues.
