About the Opportunity

Ola Electric is inviting applications for the Legal Manager position to join its in-house legal team. The role primarily involves contract drafting, legal risk analysis, stakeholder advisory, and compliance with a focus on supporting commercial, operational, and factory-level legal matters. Candidates with prior legal experience in the manufacturing or e-commerce sector are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review various legal agreements such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and licensing contracts
• Develop standardized legal documentation for operational efficiency
• Provide advisory on legal risks, obligations, and contract interpretation
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams
• Oversee contract performance, factory compliance, and dispute resolution
• Stay abreast of regulatory updates and enforce contract compliance protocols

Eligibility & Qualifications

• LL.B. Degree from a recognized university (mandatory)
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in corporate legal teams or law firms
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law
• Experience in factory compliance and vendor-side operations is preferred
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex contracts
• Prior exposure to manufacturing or e-commerce industries is highly desirable
