About the Opportunity

Axis Bank is hiring two Legal Managers, one based in Guwahati and another in Siliguri. The selected candidates will be responsible for handling legal aspects of secured banking products, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting the bank’s legal operations.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on all secured banking products.
• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
• Represent the bank in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Assist in dispute resolution and litigation matters related to banking operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
• Proficiency in legal drafting and research.
• Knowledge of banking laws, financial regulations, and secured lending.
• Prior experience in banking or financial sector legal roles is preferred.
