Responsibilities

• Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including NDAs, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
• Governance and Risk Management: Oversee corporate records, advise on legal obligations, and mitigate potential risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contracts align with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with teams like Sales, HR, and Finance to align legal objectives with business strategies.
• External Coordination: Supervise external legal counsel for outsourced matters and monitor contract compliance.
• Legal Research and Industry Insights: Stay updated on legal developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Experience: 2–4 years in legal operations or corporate settings, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of global privacy laws and US/European legal systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in legal drafting, negotiation, and communication.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Familiarity with SaaS contracts and startup operations is preferred.
