About the Position

Saregama India Ltd. is looking to hire legal professionals to join its dynamic legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of law, media, and entertainment, providing legal support for music acquisition, licensing, and publishing.

Role & Responsibilities

Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various legal documents, including LOIs, MOUs, and agreements for:
- Music acquisition & production
- Content licensing & publishing across different formats
Preparing legal communications, including letters, representations, terminations, and responses.
Collaborating with music and business teams to ensure legal compliance and provide strategic legal support.
Advising internal stakeholders on copyright laws, industry regulations, and contractual obligations to facilitate smooth business operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of Copyright Law and media & entertainment regulations.
Research-oriented mindset with the ability to track legal updates and industry trends.
Effective communication and multitasking abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving approach to legal issues.
Prior experience in media & entertainment law, either in-house or at a law firm, is preferred.
