About the Job:

The Legal Professional will play a key role in supporting EXL’s Vendor Management Office (VMO) by providing essential legal expertise in contract management. This includes ensuring compliance with legal standards and helping streamline the processes for reviewing and approving supplier contracts. The role requires close collaboration with teams across Procurement, Legal, and VMO to ensure the efficient digitization and management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Review and Drafting: Review, draft, amend, and negotiate supplier contracts in collaboration with the Legal and Procurement teams.
• Legal Compliance and Risk Assessment: Ensure all contracts comply with corporate governance policies, applicable laws, and industry regulations, while identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Document Management and Verification: Validate the completeness of contracts and related documents and maintain accurate records in the contract management system.
• Coordination and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Legal, Procurement, and VMO teams to resolve issues and expedite contract processing.
• Process Improvement: Implement best practices for contract management to increase efficiency and accuracy, refining templates and procedures.
• Training and Support: Provide training to team members on legal aspects of contract management and support in interpreting complex legal terms.

• Shift: UK Shift (1.30 PM onwards)
