About the Role

L&T is seeking a Legal Specialist – Cyber Crime Cases for its Mumbai office. The professional will contribute significantly to technology-assisted investigations and legal representations in cybercrime and related fields. The role focuses on working with digital evidence, prosecuting cybercrime cases, and advising on legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent digital evidence and investigation findings in court proceedings.
• Assist in technology-assisted investigations for cybercrime cases.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as FIRs, charge sheets, forensic reports, and trial briefs.
• Advise on cases related to digital evidence, IPR infringement, and data security issues.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies (LEA) on cybercrime prosecution.
• Provide comprehensive insights on the Indian Evidence Act and IT Act.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background:
  • LLB/LLM; graduates/postgraduates from National Law Universities preferred.
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Supreme Court, High Court, or corporate legal environments.
  • Experience in cybercrime prosecution, civil/criminal suits, and IPR cases.
• Certifications:
  • Active certification in Cyber Law is desirable.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of digital evidence handling, data security, and LEA procedures.

• Legal Drafting: Strong skills in writing and presenting legal documents.
• Communication: Verbal and written fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
• Research: Ability to conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic insights.
• Cyber Law Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of cyber law and related legal frameworks.
