About the Opportunity

OfBusiness is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Specialist to join its dynamic legal team. The role involves independently managing legal responsibilities, ensuring compliance, drafting key documents, and advising the management on regulatory and operational matters.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Loan Document Compliance:
   • Monitor and ensure adherence to pre- and post-conditions specified in loan agreements.
2. NCD Documentation and Compliance:
   • Draft and manage compliance documentation related to Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).
3. Legal Advisory:
   • Advise management and functional teams on legal and regulatory issues encountered during daily operations.
4. Policy and Procedure Review:
   • Assist in reviewing and creating legal documents, policies, and procedures.
5. Contract Management:
   • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
6. Operational Guidance:
   • Provide legal guidance to align day-to-day operations with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• LLB or LLM from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the legal domain.
• Preferred candidates from NBFCs, Financial Institutions (FIs), and Banks.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and analytical capabilities.
• Strong understanding of legal documentation and regulatory frameworks.
