About the Opportunity

The Square Circle Clinic at NALSAR is hiring full-time Litigation Consultants to work on cases involving death row prisoners. This vital role involves offering legal representation to some of the most vulnerable individuals in the criminal justice system. The Clinic, composed of members formerly associated with Project 39A, is dedicated to upholding due process and fairness, and is now continuing its mission under the NALSAR banner. Selected candidates will assist in litigation before the Supreme Court and various High Courts, develop legal strategies, and engage in prison visits to interact with clients on death row.

Event Dates

Format/Structure

This is a full-time litigation-focused role based in Delhi. Consultants will:

• Brief and assist senior advocates in criminal and constitutional law cases.
• Work on legal strategy and drafting.
• Travel to various prisons across India.
• Engage with clients to ensure equitable and humane legal support.

Location

On-site in Delhi, with travel required for prison visits and court appearances.
