About the Job/Internship
This internship offers budding legal professionals an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate legal strategy, compliance management, and litigation support at one of the world’s leading QSR chains. The internship is designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of McDonald’s India’s legal operations, from real estate legal procedures for new restaurant openings to risk management in compliance and adversarial matters.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal policies to ensure compliance with national and local laws.
• Help in managing litigation matters, including coordinating with external legal counsels and drafting responses to legal notices.
• Participate in real estate legal documentation processes, focusing on new restaurant site signings and ongoing lease negotiations.
• Support the team in developing strategies to prevent and manage legal disputes.
• Prepare reports on the status of ongoing litigation, compliance audits, and legal expenditure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or currently pursuing.
• Strong legal research skills and an analytical mindset.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
