The Litigation Wing of the Indian Army provides a unique platform for aspiring legal professionals to work alongside men and women in uniform on important service and administrative law matters. About the Event

This initiative is designed to offer hands-on experience in legal research, litigation drafting, and advisory work related to the Indian Army. Selected candidates will be designated as Military Law Research Associates and will work on a contractual full-time basis at key legal cells of the Indian Army across India. This is a rare and prestigious opportunity to be immersed in high-impact legal work with national significance.

Format and Structure

The program follows a two-stage selection process:

  1. Preliminary Screening
  2. Virtual Interview (organized by respective Legal Cells)

Selected candidates will be placed in any of the following locations:

  • Chandigarh (4)
  • Lucknow (4)
  • Chennai, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kochi, Mumbai (1 each)

Participants must submit two draft writ petitions with their application. Final selections are made based on legal writing quality, background, and interview performance.
