University of Delhi, Faculty of Law
The University of Delhi is one of India’s most prestigious institutions, established in 1924. Its Faculty of Law is recognized by the Bar Council of India and is known for pioneering legal education in India. The Faculty has a rich history of academic excellence and has produced numerous distinguished legal professionals, judges, and scholars.

Law Centre-II
Founded in 1971, Law Centre-II (LC-II) is a premier institution within the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. LC-II is known for its rigorous academic programs and emphasis on co-curricular activities, including moot courts, debates, and legal aid services. The Centre has been guided by some of India’s most esteemed legal educators and continues to be a leader in legal education.

About the Event

The S.K. Puri Memorial International Moot Court Competition, JUSTIFIED, is an annual event that brings together law students from across the globe to engage in rigorous legal debate and advocacy. The competition is named in honor of the late Shri S.K. Puri, a respected lawyer who dedicated his career to justice and ethical practice. This prestigious competition offers participants the opportunity to develop their legal skills and showcase their talents before a panel of esteemed judges.

Event Dates

• Provisional Registration Opens: 6th July 2024
• Release of Moot Problem: 15th August 2024
• Final Registration Closes: 7th October 2024
• Oral Rounds: 22nd-24th November 2024

Event Format

The competition involves multiple rounds, including preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds. Participants will argue cases that cover complex legal issues, providing an immersive experience in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
