About the Event

The 4th National Moot Court Competition, organized by the Moot Court Society of the Presidency School of Law, is designed to provide law students with an opportunity to enhance their research, writing, and advocacy skills. This event will simulate a real-world courtroom experience, allowing participants to engage in rigorous legal debates and argumentation.

• Registration Start Date: September 17, 2024

• Memorial Submission: October 28, 2024
• Researcher’s Test: November 9, 2024

Format

The competition will feature four rounds: Preliminary, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Finals. Each team will argue as both petitioner and respondent, with the top two teams advancing to the final round.

• Runner-Up: ₹30,000
• Best Speaker: ₹5,000
• Best Memorial: ₹5,000
