About the Organiser:
Banaras Hindu University's Faculty of Law, known for its century-old legacy and commitment to legal education, is hosting the 11th Mahamana Malaviya National Moot Court Competition 2024 from March 8 to 10. The theme for this edition is 'Interplay of Intellectual Property Rights & Competition Law'.
About the Event:
In collaboration with the Competition Commission of India and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as Knowledge Partner, this prestigious moot court competition features rounds like Memorial Selection, Researcher’s Test, Preliminary, Quarter-finals, Semi-Finals, and Final.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate students pursuing a 5-year LL.B. course or 3-year LL.B. course in India from a recognized institution.
How to Register:
Interested students must submit a filled Google form (attached at the end of the post) by January 25, 2024. The tentative registration will be considered. Teams should submit soft copies of memorials by February 10, 2024.
Team Composition:
Teams can consist of two or three members, with designated roles as Speakers and a Researcher.
Fee:
Provisional Registration is free. After memorial selections, qualifying teams must pay a participation fee of INR 6,000/- (inclusive of accommodation) by February 25, 2024, for final registrations.

Cash prizes, Certificates, Trophies, Internship Opportunities at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and more. Awards include:
– Winning Team: ₹40,000
– Runner-Up Team: ₹30,000
– Best Speaker: ₹10,000
– Best Memorial: ₹10,000
– Best Researcher: ₹10,000
