About CNLU

Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) was founded under the Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006 with the support of the Government of Bihar and is listed under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the U.G.C. Act, 1956. The university was created with the noble aim of benefiting society by offering high-quality legal education and promoting legal awareness.

About the Competition

The first CLE-CNLU National Essay Writing Competition serves as a platform for participants to showcase their research and writing skills while engaging in scholarly discourse on contemporary legal issues relating to Law and Economics. The event aims to foster intellectual growth, promote research, and encourage critical thinking among the participants in the field of Law and Economics.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all the UG and PG students of recognized law schools/universities and colleges.

Important Dates

• 08 August 2024……………….Release of Brochure & Commencement of Registration.
• 03 September 2024………Last date for Registration
• 08 September 2024…….. Last Date for Submission
• 20 September 2024………Date for Declaration of Results

Registration Fees

For Non-CNLU students:

• Single Authorship: INR 400/-
• Co-Authorship/ Two-Authors: INR 600/-

For CNLU students:

• Single Authorship: INR 300/-
• Co-Authorship/ Two-Authors: INR 500/-
