About NUSRL, Ranchi

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, established in 2010, is a premier institution dedicated to legal education. About the Competition

The National Moot Court Competition on Consumer Protection Laws is organized by the Centre for Consumer Research and Policy, in association with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. The competition seeks to cultivate an understanding of consumer law among law students by providing a platform to explore issues related to consumer rights, unfair trade practices, and regulatory compliance.

Participants will gain invaluable skills in legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy by addressing real-world challenges in consumer law, such as e-commerce regulation and misleading advertisements.

• Release of Moot Proposition: 4th October 2024
• Registration Deadline: 5th November 2024
• Submission of Memorials: 5th November 2024
• Oral Rounds: 22nd-24th November 2024 at NUSRL, Ranchi

• Preliminary and Quarter-final Rounds: 23rd November 2024
• Semi-final and Final Rounds with Valedictory Ceremony: 24th November 2024
• Felicitation Ceremony in New Delhi: 24th December 2024
