About the Internship Program

NHRC’s short-term online internship program is a two-week full-time course aimed at providing students with exposure to the working of the Commission and a deeper understanding of human rights.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from students across India meeting the following criteria:

• Educational Requirements:
  • Students in 3rd year and onwards of a 5-year integrated law program.
  • Students in 3rd/final year of a 3-year undergraduate course.
  • Students of any semester/year in postgraduate or diploma courses.
  • Research Scholars from any stream.
• Age Limit: Maximum of 28 years as of January 1, 2025.
• Academic Performance: Consistently achieved a minimum of 60% marks from Class XII onwards.

Document	Details
Statement of Purpose (SoP)	A 250-word write-up on “Statement of Purpose for joining NHRC Online Short-Term Internship”.
Mark Sheets	Self-attested scanned copies from Class XII onwards, including current semester/year.
Recommendation Letter	Scanned letter/email from HOD/Dean/Principal in the prescribed format.

Applications without these documents will be rejected.
