About the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal

Established in 1997, the National Law Institute University (NLIU) is one of India’s premier legal education institutions. About the Event

The NLIU Journal of Law and Technology is an annual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal. As the flagship publication of the NLIU-CLT, it serves as a platform for legal professionals, academicians, and students to contribute to the discourse on the intersection of law and technology. Submissions are invited under categories such as long articles, short articles, case comments, and book reviews, focusing on contemporary themes like cybersecurity, blockchain, intellectual property, and more.

Formatting

• Language: English
• Word Limits:
  • Long Articles: 4,000-8,000 words
  • Short Articles: 2,000-4,000 words
  • Case Comments: 1,500-4,000 words
  • Book Reviews: 1,000-3,000 words
• Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
• File Format: MS Word (.docx)
• Abstracts (300 words max) required for all articles except case comments and book reviews.

Submissions must be anonymized for blind review and adhere to the prescribed structure.

• Co-authorship is allowed (maximum two authors).
• Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
• Manuscripts should focus on legal and socio-economic relevance with a contemporary perspective.
