The National Law Institute University (NLIU), established in 1997, is one of the foremost law schools in India, recognized for its commitment to excellence in legal education and research. NLIU aims to advance legal knowledge, promote justice, and nurture future leaders in the field of law.
The university offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, emphasizing practical training, legal research, and advocacy skills. NLIU’s vibrant academic community comprises esteemed faculty members and diverse student bodies, fostering an environment of intellectual growth and collaboration. With a vision to shape socially responsible legal professionals, NLIU also actively engages in outreach programs and legal aid initiatives, bridging the gap between legal education and community service.
The Sixth Edition of the NLIU-Singhania and Partners National Client Counselling Competition, 2024 is a highly regarded event that challenges law students to demonstrate their client counseling abilities in a competitive environment. This competition is designed to simulate real-life legal counseling scenarios, allowing participants to engage with “clients,” who present legal issues they need assistance with.
The competition aims to enhance students’ skills in understanding client needs, providing appropriate legal advice, and developing effective communication strategies. Participants will be judged on their ability to demonstrate empathy, legal reasoning, and problem-solving skills while managing client expectations and concerns.
We are honored to announce that Hon’ble Mr. Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, a distinguished sitting judge of the Supreme Court of India, will preside over the final rounds of the competition and grace the valedictory ceremony.
