About the Event

NLSIU is organizing the first edition of the NLSIU AI & Law Forum on May 10, 2025, at its Bengaluru campus. This exclusive, invitation-only event will bring together AI startups, civil society organisations, legal researchers, and technologists to explore how Generative AI (GenAI) can transform legal research, case analysis, regulatory drafting, and judicial reforms.

The forum seeks to bridge the knowledge gap between legal professionals and AI innovation, promote collaboration between AI developers and law practitioners, and combat prevailing scepticism about AI’s reliability and ethics in law.

The forum will feature live startup demos, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, AI labs, and a Prompt Challenge with prizes. It aims to foster meaningful dialogue and demonstrate the practical applications of LLMs and GenAI in the Indian legal ecosystem.
