About the University/Organization

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, is one of India’s youngest and fastest-growing universities, designated as an Institution of Eminence (IoE) by the Government of India. KIIT School of Law (KSOL) offers integrated honours programs and advanced legal degrees, recognized for its commitment to justice, practical legal training, and holistic education.

KIIT Legal Services Clinic (KLSC), functioning under KSOL, is a student-run initiative established under §4(k) of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. It aims to ensure access to justice and legal literacy, undertaking pro bono services and social legal engagement.

This competition is co-organized by KLSC and ProBono India, and supported by Deadly Law as the official Social Media Partner.

About the Event

Nyay Frames | न्याय फ्रेम्स | ନ୍ୟାୟ ଫ୍ରେମ୍ – the 2nd KIIT Legal Aid Reel Making Competition, 2025 invites young minds to create impactful, creative short reels (30–120 seconds) that explore pressing socio-legal themes. These vertical-format videos will be shared online to raise awareness on civic and legal issues and promote digital legal literacy.

The competition builds on the success of its first edition and is aimed at encouraging public discourse through creative storytelling using short-form video.

• Content: Must be original. No identifying participant details allowed. No fully AI-generated content.
• Submission Platform: Link sent via email post-registration
• Engagement Criteria: Likes, shares, views, and comments on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn will contribute to judging

Eligibility

• Students enrolled in LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) courses from any BCI-recognized institution
• LL.M. students
• Class 11–12 students pursuing Legal Studies
• Cross-college and cross-year teams allowed (max. 2 members per team, solo entries permitted)
