Roles and Responsibilities

Selected interns will be expected to:

• Draft, review, and finalise pleadings, applications, replies, and submissions filed before arbitral tribunals.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on arbitration law, contract law, construction law, and related areas.
• Prepare case briefs, legal notes, research memos, and chronologies of events.
• Maintain case files, trackers, and internal databases.
• Assist in preparing for arbitral hearings, including briefing notes and document compilation.
• Attend client meetings and arbitral hearings (subject to confidentiality) and prepare detailed notes.
• Undertake any other legal or administrative tasks assigned by the supervising advocates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Penultimate or final year students of 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes.
• Demonstrated interest in arbitration, infrastructure law, or commercial laws.
• Strong research and legal writing skills.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other documentation tools.
