Hon’ble Mr. Justice Aravind Kumar, currently serving as a judge of the Supreme Court of India, is known for his thorough understanding of civil, constitutional, and commercial law. Prior to his elevation to the Supreme Court, he served as the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court and Judge of the Karnataka High Court. About the Event

The Office of Hon’ble Justice Aravind Kumar is accepting applications for a two-month internship programme, scheduled from 01 September 2025 to 31 October 2025. This prestigious internship is tailored for highly motivated law students who wish to gain first-hand experience in judicial research, case briefings, and court procedures.

This opportunity is ideal for students with a strong academic record and a keen interest in constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and court practice. Interns will be expected to undertake legal research, prepare case summaries, assist in reviewing case materials, and observe court proceedings.

Format and Structure

  • Mode: Offline (Physical attendance at Supreme Court, New Delhi, is mandatory)
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (as per court schedule)
  • Hours: Full working hours, subject to Hon’ble Judge’s schedule
  • Nature of Work: Legal research, writing briefs, note-taking, observing proceedings, and compiling case-law summaries

Note: No remote, hybrid, or part-time applications will be entertained. The internship must be undertaken for the full two-month period.

    • Students currently in their 4th or final year of a 5-year B.A. LL.B. program, or
    • Final-year students of a 3-year LL.B. program
    • Only those available for the full duration (1 September–31 October 2025) are eligible to apply.

Q1: Who is eligible to apply?
A: Only students in their 4th or 5th year of the 5-year LL.B. program, or final-year students of a 3-year LL.B. program.

Q2: Can I apply for a shorter duration (e.g., one month)?
A: No. Only applications for the full period of 1 September – 31 October 2025 will be considered.

A: No. Only shortlisted candidates will receive an email. If you do not hear by 17 August 2025, your application was not selected.

Q4: Is this internship paid?
A: No. It is an unpaid internship.

A: No. Physical presence in the office throughout the internship is compulsory.
