About the Event

The Online International Conference on “From Micronarratives to Metanarratives: Reimagining Criminal Jurisprudence in a Globalized World” seeks to create a dialogue between localized criminal justice experiences and global legal frameworks. It focuses on how individual or community-level legal narratives (micronarratives) interact with overarching global legal standards (metanarratives). It is particularly relevant in light of India’s recent overhaul of criminal laws.

This conference encourages scholarly exploration on the digital transformation of criminal law, cross-border legal challenges, marginalized perspectives in justice, and comparative jurisprudence.
