Bharat Navodaya Abhiyan: An Overview
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of the Government of India, Bharat Navodaya Abhiyan, in partnership with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), offers exceptional prospects to motivated students and recent graduates of National Law Universities (NLUs).
Participate in our National Law Scholars Program (NLSP), a committed effort that develops a network of grassroots community-based social justice attorneys and legal scholars.
In addition to providing education, the fully financed 18-month NLSP residential leadership program trains worthy high school students for the CLAT and AILET, catering to the needs of law aspirants from rural India. Regarding the Opportunity
They are seeking submissions from driven and accomplished NLU students and alumni to instruct and guide NLSP participants in CLAT preparation. Depending on their appropriateness and areas of interest, candidates may also participate in selection processes and other crucial organizational tasks.
Eligibility

Applicant must have appeared in CLAT and has been or is enrolled in any reputed law college. Relevant experience is advantageous.

Although students from any particular year are welcome to apply, senior students will be given a preference over beginners.

Proficiency in one or more subject areas of the CLAT syllabus and understanding of current CLAT patterns and question types is mandatory.

Candidates should possess a laptop and a basic understanding of computer applications.

Contribution to non-teaching areas is preferred but not mandatory unless agreed upon during selection.
Mode
This is a remote/online opportunity. Selected Candidates may be invited to work from the offices in Delhi or Hyderabad based on their performance in the earlier 3-4 weeks. Such requirements will be optional and based on the choice of the candidates. All expenses, arrangements, and training required will be provided in such scenarios.
Duration
The engagement will start in the 2nd week of May and will end in the 2nd week of July. Those whose summer/internship break is starting later than the start date or ending before the end date of this engagement may be permitted to start late or end early, as applicable.
Guidelines

A maximum of 7 candidates are to be selected. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Those who apply earlier stand a higher chance of selection.

Every candidate will be allotted a group of students to mentor, guide, and provide overall support. This will be a primary and mandatory part of the Internship and hence preference will be given to NLU graduates with an exhibited interest and experience in teaching and/or mentoring.
Incentives

Certificate co-signed by NLSP, BNA, and Government of India’s Ministry of Education representative.

There is no monetary incentive of any kind. Any out-of-pocket expense will be reimbursed as per the policy of the organization.

Deserving and willing students may be offered an opportunity to work from our offices/campuses in Delhi/Hyderabad or other regional centers. This will be optional. All required arrangements, support, and travel and accommodation assistance will be provided in such cases.
