In collaboration with Humanity Club Organisation, a non-profit committed to mental health, gender equality, child rights, and social change, Guru Legal seeks to provide a socially conscious platform for legal engagement and debate. Together, the organizations aim to encourage analytical thinking, ethical advocacy, and a deeper understanding of contemporary legal issues.

About the Event

The 1st Guru Legal National Moot Court Competition, 2025 (Virtual Edition), is a national-level competition offering law students an interactive and intellectually stimulating platform to hone their advocacy skills. Participants will engage with complex legal questions involving neurotechnology, digital privacy, and gender rights within criminal law, framed in the fictional nation of Lexlandia.

The case, Aarohi Mehra v. State of Lexlandia, requires participants to analyze constitutional and criminal law issues, including neuro-surveillance, data privacy, premenstrual syndrome as a criminal defense, fair trial, and procedural safeguards. This competition allows students to combine legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy in a practical, competitive, and socially relevant setting.
