About the Event

The P. A. Sangma Fellowship for Legal and Policy Research is a one-year full-time research fellowship (extendable) based in Meghalaya, under an MoU between NLSIU and the Government of Meghalaya. The fellowship aims to expose law graduates to the socio-economic challenges of a Sixth Schedule State, engaging in legal and policy research in coordination with state officials.

Format and Structure

Eligibility

• Law graduates from NLSIU Bengaluru (B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., or M.P.P.)

• Domicile citizens of Meghalaya with a law degree from any recognized university.
• Note: Final-year students graduating by June 2025 may also apply.
