About the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)

Launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) is a central agency established to combat and coordinate efforts against cybercrime across India. To support capacity building and academic collaboration, I4C began its internship program in 2021 to engage talented students in meaningful research, legal work, and cybercrime awareness initiatives.


About the Internship Program

The I4C internship offers a comprehensive introduction to its seven core verticals, recent cybercrime trends, modus operandi, and the overall cybercrime ecosystem in India. Selected interns will work under expert officers who will act as supervisors/mentors, guiding them through legal, analytical, and research-driven projects.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in the 3rd year and onwards of a 5-year integrated Law program.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration capabilities.
  • Must be punctual with full-time attendance throughout the internship.
  • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before commencement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research, draft documents, and case summaries.
  • Assist with representation drafting, legal analysis, and administrative support.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on projects and agreement reviews.
  • Create content and contribute to legal and cybercrime-related publications.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and complete assigned tasks with professionalism.
