About the Event

This long-term internship program is specifically tailored for law students who are serious about pursuing a career in litigation and independent legal practice. The opportunity is designed for individuals who demonstrate sincerity, discipline, and an eagerness to learn through continuous hands-on experience. The intern will be exposed to live court proceedings, drafting of legal documents, client meetings, legal research, and daily chamber work, offering a complete immersion in the legal profession.

Candidates who are willing to commit for a minimum of six months and possess an academic and professional zeal for learning the ropes of litigation are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience is not a prerequisite; rather, an attitude of perseverance and dedication is the key expectation.

Format and Structure

The selected intern will engage in daily in-chamber work and courtroom visits under direct mentorship. The internship requires physical presence at the Fort, Mumbai office and involves structured tasks such as:

• Legal research and writing
• Drafting legal documents
• Attending court hearings
• Assisting in arbitration and corporate law matters
• Learning the procedural aspects of litigation
• Collaborating on ongoing legal projects and briefs

Evaluation will be continuous and based on performance, involvement, and initiative demonstrated throughout the internship period. Feedback and mentorship will be provided regularly.
