Job Description
As a Legal Intern at Stratjuris Partners, you will be involved in a variety of tasks and responsibilities that will enhance your understanding of trademarks and copyrights. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and practical knowledge, helping you build a strong foundation for your future legal career.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Thorough Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research on various topics related to trademarks and copyrights. Your research will support ongoing projects and assist in case preparations.
- Assist in Content Writing: Contribute to the drafting and writing of legal documents, articles, and publications related to intellectual property law.
- Review and Draft Contracts: Under supervision, assist in the review and drafting of contracts, focusing on trademark and copyright agreements.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with team members on various legal assignments, gaining insights into the practical application of IP law.
Requirements
To ensure a smooth and productive internship experience, interns are expected to adhere to the following requirements:
- Commute Arrangement: Interns are responsible for arranging their commute to the office.
- Internship Timings: Interns must strictly observe the internship timings of 10 am to 5 pm (Mon-Fri). Requests for morning/evening internships should be specified in the Internship Application form.
- Dress Code: Interns are required to dress in formal attire, though wearing a black formal blazer every day is not necessary.
- Completion of Tenure: Interns must complete the full tenure of the internship to receive an internship certificate.
- Documentation: Interns will be provided with necessary documents/letters required by their college/university. This requirement should be communicated to the respective guide at Stratjuris Partners.
- Certificate of Internship: Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate of internship signed by the Managing Partner of the firm.
- Lunch Arrangement: There is no canteen in the office building, so interns are advised to bring their lunch or order from outside.
- Laptop Requirement: Interns must bring their own laptop to the office. If unavailable, the firm may provide one.
- Pre-Internship Reading: No pre-study of any Act or book is required. However, reading about Trademark and Copyright Laws of India online can be beneficial.
- Parking Arrangements: Limited parking space for two-wheelers is available, with guidance from admin staff. The firm cannot arrange parking for four-wheelers.
