About the University/Organization

The University of Warsaw, in collaboration with the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA), is set to host the 29th Annual CEPSA Conference. The University is one of Europe’s leading research institutions, playing a pivotal role in promoting global scholarly engagement, particularly in political science and international relations.

About the Event

The conference theme, “Politicisation and Post-politics in Times of New Challenges”, explores urgent global political dilemmas, shifting participation paradigms, depoliticisation, technocratic governance, and climate-related policy responses. It aims to offer critical reflections on the rise of post-political environments, democratic erosion, and revitalisation strategies via deliberative democracy.

Researchers, scholars, and practitioners are invited to submit paper or panel proposals on a wide array of interdisciplinary and contemporary political issues. Special attention will be given to the role of citizen participation, technocracy, ideological shifts, and energy transformation within democratic systems.
