About the Event

The Department of Law, Aliah University, in collaboration with the Aliah University Department of Law Alumni Association (AUDLAA), is hosting the 6th National Seminar on “Protecting the Rights of Vulnerable Class in India.” This one-day seminar aims to explore critical legal frameworks, challenges, and solutions for safeguarding marginalized communities. The event will bring together academicians, legal practitioners, human rights advocates, and scholars to share insights and engage in thought-provoking discussions.

Format/Structure

  • Call for Papers: Participants may submit research papers on topics related to human rights, legal frameworks, gender justice, child protection, marginalized communities, and more.
  • Paper Submission: Abstracts (250-300 words) and full papers (3000-5000 words) must be submitted in MS Word format (Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 Spacing).
  • Publication Opportunity: Selected papers will be published as an edited book with an ISBN upon payment of publication fees.
  • Presentation: Participants may present their papers in-person or online.

Location

The seminar will be held offline at the Park Circus Campus, Aliah University, Kolkata.

  • Registration Fees:
  • ₹400 for student participants
  • ₹500-₹800 for paper presenters (UG, PG, Research Scholars, Academicians)
  • ₹1000 for online presentations
  • ₹3000 for international participants
  • Certificates: All registered participants will receive certificates.
