About the Host

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was founded based on the educational vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist, and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. Established in 1969, CHRIST College, now a Deemed University, has been a pioneer in Indian higher education with innovative curriculum, academic discipline, holistic education, and global higher education practices.

Accredited with the top grade 'A+' by NAAC in 1998, 2004, 2016, and 2022, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has consistently excelled. Its Delhi NCR campus, initiated in 2019, focuses on teaching, research, and service.

School of Law

The School of Law offers B.A. LL.B., BBA. LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. in Law, with a flexible curriculum catering to the legal profession and academia's evolving needs.

Eligibility

The competition welcomes students pursuing LLB three/five-year courses during the current academic year. Each team, comprising three members, may allow a two-member team at the organizers' discretion. An exclusive team code is assigned, ensuring anonymity.

Venue

The 4th National Moot Court Competition will be held offline at CHRIST (Deemed to Be University), Delhi NCR campus from February 8 to 10, 2024.

Registration Process

– Memorial Qualification Round: Register after paying Rs. 1,000.

– Oral Rounds: Register after paying Rs. 5,100 (with accommodation) or Rs. 4,200 (without accommodation). The link will be shared with qualifying teams via email.

Accommodation, Food & Travel

Participants will be provided accommodation nearby. Travel services will be available, and participants will receive meals through food coupons.

Awards

– Winner: Rs. 80,000 + trophies + EBC Resources

– Runner Up: Rs. 40,000 + trophies

– Best Researcher: Rs. 15,000 + trophy

– Best Speaker: Rs. 15,000/- + trophy

– Best Memorial: Rs. 15,000/- + trophy

Certificates and SCC Subscription will be issued to all participants.

– Online Registration (Memorial Rounds): Till January 11, 2024

– Results of Memorial Rounds: January 22, 2024

– Online Registration (Oral Rounds): January 22 to 29, 2024

– Submission of Memorials (Hard Copy): February 8, 2024

– Finals & Valedictory: February 10, 2024
