About CNLU Patna and CARCIL
The Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL) at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, is dedicated to fostering academic and practical research in corporate and insolvency law. CARCIL serves as a platform for students and scholars to engage in deep, practical learning experiences in the dynamic field of corporate governance and insolvency.
About the Internship
CARCIL is offering a virtual research internship for students interested in corporate law, insolvency, and related areas. This program aims to familiarize interns with key aspects of corporate legislation, bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.
Interns will assist with ongoing research initiatives in areas including:
- Mergers & Acquisitions and PE/VC
- General Corporate Law
- Capital Markets & Securities Law
- Restructuring & Insolvency
Interns will receive credit for their contributions to CARCIL publications and projects. Successful participants will be awarded a certificate of internship. This is an unpaid internship.

Eligibility
This internship is open to:
- Undergraduate Law Students (3-year or 5-year programs) with prior research experience in corporate law.
- LL.M. Students specializing in Corporate, Commercial, or Regulatory Law.
- Students from Management, Finance, or Law backgrounds with relevant research experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in corporate and insolvency laws.
- Contribute to publications and ongoing projects at CARCIL.
- Dedicate at least 8 hours per week to assigned tasks.
- Maintain discipline and professionalism throughout the internship.
