The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee of REVA University is organizing the 1st City-Level Mediation Competition, offering law students a platform to hone their mediation and negotiation skills.
About the Event
The 1st City-Level Mediation Competition aims to promote mediation as an effective dispute resolution mechanism. Open to law students pursuing a 5-year integrated or 3-year LL.B. course, this competition will test participants on their mediation, negotiation, and client counseling abilities through structured rounds.

Format/Structure
- Qualifier Round: All teams compete, and the top six advance to the semi-finals.
- Semi-Finals: The top two teams from this round proceed to the final.
- Final Round: The best-performing teams compete for the championship.
- Random Pairing: Mediators will be randomly assigned and may compete independently from their team’s Client & Counsel pair.
Location
The competition will be held offline at REVA University, Bengaluru. Participants are required to adhere to a formal business dress code.
Additional Details
- Team Composition: Each team must consist of three members – a Client, a Counsel, and a Mediator.
- Registration Limit: A maximum of 20 teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Registration Fee: INR 2500 per team (Non-refundable).
- Prizes:
- Winners: Medal, Certificate of Excellence & Prizes worth ₹10,000.
- Runners-Up: Medal, Certificate of Excellence & Prizes worth ₹5,000.
- Special Awards: Best Counsel, Best Client, Best Mediator (Qualifier Round).
- Internships:
- Top two performers: Internship at CAMP Arbitration & Mediation Practice.
- Winning Team: Internship at Mohit Mokal Mediation.
