Russian Women in Arbitration (RWA), in collaboration with Kucher Kuleshov Maximenko & Partners (KKMP) and Lansky, Ganzger, Goeth & Partner (LGP Lawyers), is committed to strengthening gender equality and promoting female leadership in international arbitration. The organizations have long supported diversity and inclusion in dispute resolution and aim to provide meaningful platforms for young legal professionals to grow and gain visibility.
This triennial scholarship initiative reflects their continued mission to cultivate excellence in arbitration among emerging women professionals.
The RWA, KKMP & LGP Scholarship for Rising Stars in Arbitration is a distinguished academic and professional award programme designed to reward exceptional young women demonstrating ambition and commitment to international arbitration.
The programme encourages exploration of diversity, gender representation, and cultural inclusion within arbitration practices. It also supports the professional development of emerging voices in the field through financial assistance and recognition.
Participants are invited to submit research-based and practical proposals that contribute original thought to the future of arbitration.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents in Russian:
The mini-research may take academic or practical form, e.g., policy proposals, drafts of arbitration clauses, or prototype IT solutions addressing diversity gaps. Any additional attachments (e.g., appendices, prototypes) are welcome but will not count toward the word limit.

Q1: Is the scholarship limited to Russian citizens? A: No, the competition is open to all nationalities provided the submission is in Russian.
Q2: Can I submit a co-authored paper? A: No, only individual submissions will be considered.
Q3: Do I have to be currently enrolled in a university? A: No, recent graduates and practicing lawyers under 30 may also apply.
Q4: Will I receive confirmation upon submission? A: Yes, all submissions will receive acknowledgement via email.
Q5: Will my paper be published? A: Selected works may be published with the author’s permission.
