The Southern African Law Teachers Conference (SALTC) 2025 is hosted by the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Law in collaboration with the Society for Law Teachers of Southern Africa (SLTSA). The conference provides a platform for legal scholars and educators to explore the evolving impact of constitutional supremacy on law teaching, research, and practice across Southern Africa.
This year’s theme is “Reflections on Constitutional Supremacy in Southern Africa: Reviewing the Impact on Law Teaching and Learning, Research, and Practice.” The conference will bring together leading academics, legal practitioners, and researchers to discuss the role of constitutional supremacy in shaping contemporary legal frameworks and pedagogy.
