About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Associate/Partner/Accountant/Tax Professional who specializes in the sports and entertainment sectors to join our Tax, Trusts, and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious law firm, manage an existing portfolio of clients, and focus on relationship management, business development, and fee-earning responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-profile clients in the sports and entertainment industries and be comfortable advising on complex tax and financial matters. This role provides a platform to nurture existing client relationships while developing key referral partnerships to expand Irwin Mitchell’s sports practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients within the sports and entertainment sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral partners to drive business growth.
- Provide expert legal/accounting advice on tax-related issues for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Meet and exceed fee-earning targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

About You
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Tax Professional, Accountant, or Lawyer with a specialization in the sports and entertainment sectors. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with a proven track record of managing client relationships and growing business.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Lawyer/Accountant/Tax Professional with a background in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members to provide seamless client service.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to provide tailored financial and legal advice.
- A network of key referral relationships within the sports and entertainment sector is highly desirable.
