The Surana & Surana & School of Law, Sathyabama Human Welfare Moot Court Competition 2024-25 is designed to create awareness and promote legal discourse on human welfare and rights. This competition aims to provide law students with an opportunity to enhance their advocacy, research, and writing skills through a simulated court experience.

Format & Structure

• Preliminary Rounds (Two rounds per team: one as Petitioner, one as Respondent)
• Knockout Rounds: Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals
• Memorial Submission: Required for both Petitioner and Respondent
• Judging Criteria: Knowledge of facts, legal research, reasoning, argument presentation, persuasiveness, and court decorum

Additional Details

• Eligibility: Open to students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program. One team per institution.
• Team Composition: 2 speakers & 1 researcher.
• Registration Fee: ₹3,500 per team (non-refundable). Payment details are available in the official rulebook.
• Accommodation & Transport: Available for an additional fee of ₹6,500 per team (March 20-23, 2025).
