About the Event

This recruitment drive is aimed at hiring qualified Teaching & Research Associates (Law) for SMLPA. The selected candidates will support research, teaching, and capacity-building initiatives in maritime law, trade law, and related fields, working under the guidance of GMU’s Provost, Dean, and Registrar. This role also includes involvement in curriculum development, academic events, and interdisciplinary research collaborations.

Format and Structure

The appointment will be for a period of one year, extendable based on performance. It is a full-time offline position requiring regular presence at the GMU campus in Gandhinagar. Evaluation will be based on eligibility, academic merit, and interviews. Selected candidates will be notified via email.

Eligibility

Essential Criteria:

• Master’s degree in Law with at least 55% marks
• Strong knowledge of current research trends in national and international law
• Fluency in English
• Experience in organizing training, workshops, and academic discussions

Highly Desirable:

• Specialization in Maritime Law or International Trade Law
• NET/SLET/SET qualification
• Prior research/teaching in premier institutions
• Strong interpersonal, innovation, and team skills
