Jaipur National University (JNU), established in 2007, is one of the leading institutions in Rajasthan, India, known for its interdisciplinary education and research across various fields, including law. The Seedling School of Law and Governance at JNU stands out for its emphasis on nurturing legal excellence and advocacy skills. The institution fosters a stimulating academic environment and organizes numerous competitions and programs aimed at enhancing students’ practical legal skills.
The 2nd National Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition 2024 is a prestigious event hosted by the Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University. It focuses on nurturing advocacy and judgment writing skills among law students. Participants will compete in a realistic courtroom setting, arguing complex legal cases and drafting judgments based on the proceedings. The event also includes a Client Counselling Competition, making it a comprehensive legal competition.
The competition will take place from 25th to 27th October 2024. It is a three-day event, which will begin with the Inaugural Ceremony followed by various rounds of trial advocacy and judgment writing.

Participants must submit memorials for both the prosecution and defense sides, adhering to the strict formatting guidelines provided by the organizers.
The competition will be held at Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University, Jagatpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university campus is well-equipped to host such events, offering accommodation and other amenities for participants.
Participants are required to send the registration forms and proof of payment via email to trialadvocacy@jnujaipur.ac.in by the registration deadline. Hard copies of the memorials must be submitted by 19th October 2024.
