The Society for Constitutional Law Discussion (TSCLD) is a student-led initiative committed to promoting critical engagement and discourse on Constitutional Law. It is known for its academic blog and journal, both of which have garnered national recognition, including being ranked among India’s top Constitutional Law blogs by Feedspot and acknowledged by APAC Insider magazine for its impactful work.

About the Event

TSCLD is inviting applications from committed and enthusiastic law students for editorial roles on its Editorial Team for the academic year 2025-26. The roles offer a prestigious opportunity to contribute to high-level academic publishing, develop a deep understanding of constitutional law, and engage with a dynamic community of legal scholars.

Format/Structure

Editorial Roles Available:

• Managing Editor (Only for 5th-year students): Oversees publication sections, manages editorial teams, and contributes to strategic planning.
• Senior Associate Editor: Reviews manuscripts, mentors Associate Editors, and ensures scholarly quality.
• Associate Editor: Conducts manuscript reviews and ensures clarity and adherence to editorial standards.
• Technical Editor: Manages formatting, citation consistency, and web publishing support.

Eligibility:

• Law students (2nd to 5th year) with a keen interest in Constitutional Law.
• Editorial/technical experience preferred.
• Strong writing and analytical skills are essential.

Location

All roles are remote (online), making them accessible to students across India.

Additional Details

• Previous TSCLD editors from 2024–25 will be given preferential consideration for elevated roles.
• Selected editors will gain hands-on experience in academic publishing and receive recognition for their contributions to one of India’s premier constitutional law platforms.
