The Department of Studies in Law, University of Mysore, India, in collaboration with the Kalu Institute, Madrid, Spain, the School of Law, University of Nairobi, Kenya, and Mount Kenya University, Kenya, is organizing this international academic initiative.

About the Event

The Two-Day International Conference on the Role of Educational Institutions as Catalysts Addressing Poverty and Mitigating Conflict in Fragile States is scheduled for 26–27 September 2025.

This event is designed to explore the critical role of education in fostering peace, economic empowerment, and sustainable development in fragile and conflict-affected states. It will provide a platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, present research, and propose innovative strategies.

The themes include:

  • Equity, access, and inclusion in fragile education systems.
  • TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) for sustainable livelihoods.
  • Post-conflict reconstruction of education infrastructure.

Selected papers will be published in an Open Access Edited Volume (Spain, Europe), providing participants an opportunity to contribute to international scholarship.

  • Assessment: Participants will complete a post-conference examination. Successful candidates will receive a certificate of participation.

Evaluation will be based on originality, thematic relevance, clarity, and contribution to the objectives of the conference.
